Egg Nog

• rum (optional)

• whiskey (optional)

   Ensure all ingredients are well chilled before starting this recipe.

   Separate eggs and beat the egg yolks, adding sugar while beating.

   eggs: 6, sugar: 1/2 cup

   Beat the egg whites and add sugar after the egg whites are stiff.

   sugar: 1/4 cup

   Fold the yolks and whites together.

   Stir in milk and heavy cream .

   milk: 1 pint, heavy cream: 1 pint (whipped)

   whiskey and/or rum can be added at this time.

   whiskey: 1 pint (optional), rum: 1 pint (optional)

   Let set for ⏱️ 30 minutes before serving.
